Holiday Memories 2020

Every year I offer holiday portrait sessions, because this is the time of year more than any other we tend to want to create memories. I have Christmas portraits of my two girls, from every year since I began photographing. It's wonderful to see how much they've changed and grown from year to year, and how much I've grown as a photographer.

2012

This was the year I started to offer holiday portraits. We've come a long way in 6 years.

2013

Clover's first Christmas.

Grace was slightly less amused about having gotten a new sister for Christmas.

She's somewhat happier here.

They were tough to pose together that first year.

2014

I had a hard drive failure in 2016 in which I lost many images from 2013 through early 2016. Thankfully I print images every year, so they are not completely lost, but unfortunately, all my digital images from 2014 were lost. For whatever reason, I never even shared them on social media. More on the importance of printing and backing up images in a future blog.

2015

Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite all time images of Grace. I've tried to recreate this image every year since, but it's never been quite the same.

And Clover. Always so regal. And Beautiful. And Serious.

2016

By 2016 they were somewhat better at posing together, although I do have shots with them both together from previous years.

2017

Both my girls, expressing themselves, being who they are.

2018

Still Serious

My princess

With their buddy River.

2020

I can't emphasize enough the importance of having photographs of your beloved family members, be they human, canine or otherwise. You don't realize until it's too late that you don't have enough. You will never have enough. As Grace gets older I know I will never have enough. I photograph my girls often. It's not enough to just have one good picture every year. And while I photograph my girls for Christmas every year, I also have family portraits done every year for the holiday's as well.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to have your beloved pets photographed for the holidays this year. Our Limited Edition Holiday sessions are Saturday, November 28th from 11-4 pm. Session times are going fast. Sign up today!
